Ayaz is director of the firm. He is senior portfolio manager and very experienced analyst of Asian Equities. At present, he is a senior portfolio manager with Nivalis Partners, Hong Kong. He runs a long Asia equity fund focused on investing in high quality, well run mid-market cap companies across Asia. He is highly experienced and successful fund manager with stellar track record of performance in managing equity assets across Asia.

Prior to that, he ran a long India book at High bridge Capital Management (one of the largest hedge funds in the world and part of JP Morgan) between 2007 and 2011. He was a senior analyst and portfolio manager with New Vernon Asset Management and Birla Sunlife Asset Management in India.

He is regularly quoted in various media on his views on Asian Equities. He advises Intellective Capital on Portfolio and Risk Management. He is a Bachelor of Commerce and holds an MBA.
